Join Our Team

We are always looking for friendly, professional, reliable individuals, who ADORE DOGS, and would like to join our expanding team. In addition to providing unconditional love and care for our client’s pups, our wedding dog chaperones are responsible for:

  • Safe and on-time transportation for our client’s dog(s) to and from their pawrent’s wedding venue

  • Handling, care, and accompaniment of our client’s dog(s) during photos, ceremony activities, cocktail hour, and interactions with family, guests, and other wedding vendors

  • Providing exercise, potty, water, and rest breaks, and maintaining a dedicated focus to the dog’s comfort, safety, and well-being

  • Following the dog’s wedding itinerary in a timely, professional fashion while remaining flexible and accommodating

 
  • Preparing + serving dinner, administering medications (if needed), and helping pups settle in for the evening.

  • Capturing behind the scenes photos and videos from the dog’s point of view to provide to the client after the wedding

  • Positively represent and promote brand through social media, word-of-mouth, and at events

 
 

The pawfect candidate will:

 
 
  • Be available to work weekends, especially during peak wedding season (June - October), and have the ability to provide care for up to 8 hours (or more) at a time

  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, that allows you to safely operate your insured, registered, and inspected vehicle reliably

  • Be 21 years of age or older, can submit their resume via email, and successfully complete a background check

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years prior pet sitting, dog walking, or vet tech experience (preferred), and have your Pet First Aid & CPR certification or the willingness to become certified

  • LOVES weddings and love stories, and enjoys the process of creating a special day for couples and their pups

  • Have a genuine respect, compassion, and love for animals (primarily dogs), along with the never ending desire to care for them

  • Have the ability and understanding to assess a dog’s behavior, react accordingly, and advocate on their behalf to maintain their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the day

  • Be dependable, responsible, punctual, organized, and able to work independently and without supervision

  • Have the ability to manage and comfortably control dogs of all sizes, shapes, and personalities - sometimes two dogs at a time

  • Be comfortable interacting and communicating with other vendors, wedding guests, and client’s family members and friends in a professional and courteous manner
