Join Our Team

We are always looking for friendly, professional, reliable pet chaperones, who ADORE DOGS, and would like to join our growing team. In addition to providing unconditional love and care for our client’s pups, our chaperones are responsible for:

  • Transportation for the dog to and from the wedding venue, following the dog’s wedding day timeline to get them where they need to be safely and on time

  • Taking behind the scenes pictures and videos from the dog’s wedding day point of view

  • Handling, care, and accompaniment of the dog during photos, ceremony activities, and interactions with wedding guests

  • Providing potty and water breaks as needed, and the ever so important disbursement of treats and belly rubs

  • Serving dinner and providing a walk upon dog’s safe return home from wedding

 
 
 
 

The pawfect candidate will:

 
 

  • Have the availability to work weekends, evenings, and occasional holidays

  • Have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, that allows you to safely operate your insured, registered, and inspected, and vehicle reliably

  • Own a cell phone with internet access, texting capabilities, and enjoy taking photos

  • Be 21 years of age or older, can submit their resume via email, and successfully complete a background check

  • Have a minimum of 2 years prior pet sitting or dog walking experience (preferred)

  • Be pet first aid & CPR certified or willing to become certified (reimbursement offered)

  • Have a genuine respect, compassion, and love for animals (primarily dogs), along with the never ending desire to care for them

  • Have the ability to assess a dog’s behavior, and know how to react accordingly

  • Be dependable, responsible, punctual, organized, and able to work independently and without supervision

  • Have the ability to comfortably walk for several hours a day and potentially manage dogs of all sizes, sometimes two at a time

  • Be comfortable interacting and communicating with other vendors, wedding guests, and client’s family members and friends
